about Bellerophon · Framingham, MA

a content agency shouldn’t sell you a retainer. it should sell you a ranking.

I’m Marisol Vega. I spent six years on B2B SaaS marketing teams watching agencies bill twelve months up front and deliver blog posts nobody searched for. Bellerophon is the opposite of that bargain — you buy a piece, it does a job, and you decide what comes next.

02 — where this started

I started this because I was the person inside the company emailing the agency at 9pm.

A keyword map and content calendar pinned across a studio wall

the brief was always the same: “just write something for the blog.

So I’d send over the product context, the buyer questions, the comparison terms we kept losing — and three weeks later a 600-word post would arrive that read like it could’ve been about any software in any category. It ranked for nothing. We paid anyway, because the contract said so.

Bellerophon is the agency I wished I could have hired back then: a strategist who reads the product before a writer opens a doc, writers who already know what an API or a SAML handshake is, and a price attached to one piece at a time — not a year you can’t leave.

03 — what we hold to

three rules I won’t bend, even when it costs us the contract.

These aren’t poster slogans. They’re the reasons clients stay on the masthead — and occasionally the reason I turn work away.

01

we write toward a real search, or we don’t write it

Every piece traces back to a query a buyer is actually typing. If a topic has no demand and no business reason, I’ll tell you before you spend a dollar on it.

02

the same two people read every draft you get

No invisible offshore pool, no rotating cast. A subject-aware writer drafts it and I edit it — claims, links, and on-page SEO — before it ever lands in your inbox.

03

if content isn’t the right lever, I’ll say so

Because you’re billed per engagement, I have no reason to keep you on a treadmill. Sometimes the honest answer is “this is a product problem, not a blog problem.”

a tight bench

Bellerophon is me plus a handful of writers I’ve worked alongside for years — people who came up inside SaaS, not a content mill. When you hire us, you’re hiring named humans, not a queue ticket.

I read every draft and answer every email myself, from the studio on Franklin St. You won’t be handed off to an account manager who’s never opened your product.

Send it over and I’ll come back within one business day with a rough angle and a price — no pitch deck, no twelve-month proposal. Just whether I think we can win it back, and what one piece would cost.
